The Council's flawed consultation on budget priorities is currently unravelling across the city to widespread dissatisfaction and embarrassment.
We will discuss the problem in Issue 187 (1 October), but for now enthusiastically endorse campaign organisation Greener Leith's coverage at www.greenerleith.org.
As well as uncovering little publicised Council options such as scrapping the Neighbourhood Partnership system, Greener Leith have come up with their own online survey on proposed service cuts, reductions or cost increases.
The results will be circulated to appropriate Council officials and Leith and Leith Walk councillors.
