Mark Lazarowicz has reconfirmed whom he will back for the Labour Party leadership.

'I'm voting for Ed Miliband,' he told Spurtle.

Balloting – which began on Monday of last week – will continue until Wednesday 22 September, with the result being announced at the Labour Party Conference on Saturday 25 September.

Ed Miliband is generally considered to be of a Brownite persuasion, having risen under the former Prime Minister to become Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, then Minister for the Cabinet Office, then Secretary of State at the Department of Energy and Climate Change.

Other known supporters include Sarah Boyack, MSP (Edinburgh Central), David Hamilton, MP (Midlothian), and John Park, MSP (Mid-Scotland and Fife).
