Dear Editor
I am astounded at Lothian and Borders Police's swift move to transfer to other divisions Hawick-based G Division officers and civilian staff accused of sending racist and sexist e-mails. [See news item here.]
If they are not fit to serve in the Borders, why should they be foisted upon the Lothians?
Or is this just a cynical publicity stunt to show that 'something' is being done?
