Drummond CHS pupils are working hard to raise funds to enable their Kenyan partners to visit Edinburgh next year. Their latest event – 'Bags of Style' – will take place in the school on 18 November from 6:00–8:30pm.
Billed as an 'unmissable handbag event', the evening will involve an exhibition of vintage handbags, a demonstration of handbag-making, a sale of unwanted handbags, and a fun handbag competition and raffle. The increasingly popular Fairtrade Café will be on hand and over the shoulder with refreshments.
The organisers are still accepting donations of unwanted handbags, shopping bags, man bags, toiletry bags and purses. Please leave them at the school office.
