CONTACTLESS AND CONVENIENT

LOCAL MARKETS NOW (VIRTUALLY) BACK TO NORMAL

For obvious reasons, Stockbridge and Leith Markets can’t operate in the confines of Kerr Street and Dock Place just now.

But if you’re missing the beards, bustle and fresh produce of pre-coronavirus weekends, don’t despair.

Both markets are now operating in virtual space thanks to the website Neighbourfood.

You can browse and choose from what’s on offer online HERE, from Saturday/Sunday evenings to Thursday evenings, place your order, then collect at a prearranged weekend time-slot in the real world (Leith –11am–3pm; Saturday, Stockbridge – 11am–3pm, Sunday).

You get all the enjoyment of artisan produce with none of the worry of community breath.

Organisers At the Market Ltd say the system is up and running already, but advise customers to keep checking in as more suppliers come onboard over the days to come.
