EDINBURGH'S SIZZLING LATE SUMMER READ

Submitted by Editor on

A second draft of the Council’s Edinburgh Local Development Plan is now available for your perusal.

Few people will find it matches Fifty Shades of Grey for thrills per page, but in the long run it is probably a lot more important, laying out as it does ‘policies and proposals to guide land use and development’.

Oooh, I don’t know, though ...

‘The Second Proposed Plan is accompanied by an Environmental Report - Second Revision, a Second Proposed Action Programme, a revised Draft Habitats Regulations Appraisal Record and a number of other supporting documents.'

Is it just me or has it got hot in here all of a sudden?

'These include a Schedule of Representations, which explains what regard has been had to representations made in 2013 to the first Proposed Plan.’

Phwoarr ...

'You can access the document here or in Waverley Court (4 East Market Street)' or Stockbridge or McDonald Road Library until 3 October.

Doesn't leave much to the imagination, does it?

'Any representations on the Second Proposed Plan should be made on the form provided by 5.00pm on Friday 3 October 2014.

'Representations can be submitted electronically or by post to Local Development Plan Team, City of Edinburgh Council, Business Centre G.3, Waverley Court, 4 East Market Street, Edinburgh, EH8 8BG.'

Oh, good grief. Too much. My inner goddess is jumping up and down, clapping her hands like a 5-year old. Somebody, please call an ambulance!
