White Watch took part in the national Fire Fighters Charity Car Wash at McDonald Road Fire Station on Saturday 19 March.

Young Crew Managers Steven Doyle and Melanie Mason, and Young Firefighter Jordan Reid from the Edinburgh Phoenix Programme run by Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service, helped raise about £300 for the Fire Fighters Charity.

Organisers thanked all those who came along and got their cars washed, and the young helpers who put a 110% effort into the event.

The Fire Fighters Charity helps thousands of individuals from the fire service community, offering therapy and recuperation services nationwide. It runs two car washes per year (March and September), raising money and allowing fire fighters to meet a wide cross-section of the community whilst promoting fire safety initiatives.
