HAVE YOU SEEN MACINTYRE?

Submitted by Editor on

Cameron MacIntyre is a male, Independent candidate for the Edinburgh North and Leith constituency in the Westminster General Election 2010. He did not attend the Spurtle hustings on 21 April.

Please check your sheds, garages and outbuildings, and leave doors open where possible to allow him to escape if he's locked in somewhere.

His electoral agent Colin Dempsey has not replied to our emails, or responded to requests for biographical details about Mr MacIntyre and his political policies. He, too, may be trapped in some garden shed.

Spurtle staff have met no-one in Edinburgh North and Leith who's met Mr MacIntyre during this General Election campaign, or who knows anything of his background. Political rivals are equally baffled.

However, those associated with Mr McIntyre's nomination papers before his disappearance are: Paul Davidson, Colin G. Dempsey, Coral L. Donaldson, Martin Forbes-Young, Richard Forbes-Young, Craig G. Hendry, Linda Thomson, Margaret W. Wickham, Vivienne A.W. Wickham, and William B. Wickham. If any of them have been feeding or otherwise caring for Mr MacIntyre during his absence, we invite them to get in touch.

Spurtle invites all readers to help reunite Mr MacIntyre with the electorate.
