Art Amatoria will hold the first solo exhibition of new work by Caroline Hepburne-Scott from 24 June to 8 July.
A graduate of Edinburgh College of Art and 'one of the rising stars of the Scottish art scene', Hepburne-Scott has previously specialised in finely detailed depictions of animals, but more recently has been experimenting with larger-scale landscapes and tree studies.
Much of her work is inspired by the scenery and colour combinations of Borders countryside. Art Amatoria's Caroline Hay advises locals to 'Catch her now before she goes stratospheric'.
Art Amatoria is at 10 Bellevue Crescent and opens between 2:00 and 5:00pm, Tues–Sat.
