We contacted CCG for comment on 19 February, whose response arrived just after the paper had gone to press 5 days later.
In CCG’s reply on 24 February, a named representative of the company acknowledged human error as the reason for the 2-month delay in registering CCG as a Considerate Constructor at the Powderhall site.
It was an 'oversight' for which he took full responsibility.
The same person gave an assurance that the site manager at Powderhall had now been directed to complete some eLearning modules under the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS).
Sure enough, the updated CCS website now shows that the 'site contact' completed the 'Introduction-to-CCS' module on 23 February (see below). Spurtle will update this article as further modules are completed.
