Reid the Heid heads west

Submitted by Editor on

As reported in Issue 178, Jon Reid has left Drummond CHS for pastures old.

In Issue 149 we asked how long such a young and ambitious professional would remain. ‘I’m here to make a difference, and a sustainable improvement for staff and pupils,’ Reid replied. ‘I’m not going to let folk down. I can’t promise to stay forever but I can promise I’m not going to leave until the job is done.’

December’s broadly positive HMI Report suggests he’s kept his word. Download a pdf copy at either www.drummond.edin.sch.uk  or, with more background information, http://www.hmie.gov.uk.
