Rocheid Path volunteers

Over the course of the winter the Friends of Rocheid Path will have regular volunteer sessions, every 2ndSunday. Main tasks: cutting back brambles and ivy encroaching on the path, removing saplings, controlling the re-growth of laurel and picking up litter. It’s a lovely space, let’s keep it that way. All welcome.

Christmas Fair

Broughton St Mary's Parish Church seasonal fundraiser. Treasure hunt. Preserves. Hamper draw. Homemade soup and bread. Books & CDs. Everything Christmas. Refreshments. Guess the weight of the baker. Tickets £2.00 (children 50p).

Coffee morning and Christmas fayre

This informal event is to mark the MS Therapy Centre Lothian's 30th anniversary: greetings cards, gifts, baking, homemade jam, marmalade, chutney, tombola. All proceeds go towards the Centre's work in helping people with MS manage their symptoms. Entry: £3.00 (includes tea/coffee, home baking, entry into Prize Draw).

Family Halloween Party

Broughton Project Group would like to welcome you to our Halloween Party for families from 4.30pm-7.30pm at our award-winning community garden on Barony Place (off Broughton Street). Please bring a pumpkin lantern or some treats to share if you can.

Friends of Hopetoun Crescent Garden AGM

Annual general meeting at 2.30pm. Guest speaker from 3.15pm: Sutherland Forsyth (Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh) on 'Lost treasures, hidden histories and audaciousness personified: rebuilding the Botanic Cottage'. Refreshments will be available before and after guest speaker, but not during. All very welcome.
