CAST NOT A CLOUT TILL AUGUST'S OUT

Submitted by Editor on

Roving Spurtle correspondent John MacDonald was passing along Howe Street today when he noticed something odd.

‘Even though Edinburgh is basking in 26 ºC, a few of the railings situated on the windy corner with Northumberland Street are still feeling the cold and have kept their colourfull woollen jumpsuits on.

‘Most likely they were knitted by someone in McAree Brothers at No. 19.’

By coincidence, Spurtle will cover further, important, knitting-related news in Issue 221, out next month.
