GARDENERS TAKE PRIDE

Submitted by Editor on

Well done, the Botanics!

Staff here are already world leaders in exploring, conserving and explaining the world of plants for a better future.

But this Saturday they’re taking that scientific mission a little further by celebrating plant and human diversity on the Pride Scotia March through the capital.

Staff, students, research associates and volunteers are already wearing rainbow lanyards and ribbons, there are rainbow umbrellas hanging in the giftshop, and even the RBGE’s Twitter profile picture (above) currently features a rainbow Sibbaldia.

The March will assemble at 11am on Parliament Green outside the Scottish Parliament, and move off at noon before arriving at the Potterow Dome where Pride Edinburgh Day events will begin.
