ISSUE 202 – COMING SOON

Submitted by Editor on

Spurtle's printed January issue will be published as soon as the fog of festive war has cleared and our printers bound cheerfully back into work – probably on Friday 6 January.

Contents may settle between now and then, but are likely to include locos and madhouses, disturbing crime and supermarket news, flood-related ephemera, and a call to deploy the wonders of science in the ceaseless battle against unpleasantness.

The usual mix of under-the-radar local intelligence, wrongheaded opinion and Broughton-centred observation will this month be much improved by the addition of at least one world exclusive.

All this and more will be available through the usual array of shops, libraries, meeteries, tweeteries, eateries, galleries and places for getting your hair done. Until then, online news coverage will gradually crank up as the last visiting Spurtle relatives depart in their Christmas concrete slippers.

May we take this opportunity to wish all readers, subscribers, contributors and advertisers a very happy new year.
