ISSUE 250 – OUT MOSTLY TOMORROW!

Submitted by Editor on

As you read this, advanced copies of the April Spurtle are already trickling out across the barony.

Issue 250 kicks off with word of more woes for the Royal Bank of Scotland, and fresh misery for residents on Hopetoun Street.

We also have a front-page celebrity hug, a lovely close-up of a lorry, and exclusive news of the date of our Holyrood hustings on 14 April.

Inside

Inside you’ll find smoke, scouts, stencils, shambles, shepherds and a Sergeant. We deal with police-box give-aways, a miraculous reappearance, café and crêpe developments, a much-missed Bellevue stalwart, birds brown and grey, and the bitter-sweet pleasures of Brutalism.

Chewy

We conclude with disease and hot news dating from 1456.

And we haven’t even begun to detail the myriad delicious little toothsome news-nuggets in-between.

Spots

You can find Spurtles in all the usual spots across Broughton: pubs, clubs, hair salons, underground Zeppelin inflaters, libraries, newsagents, bike shops and ship chandlers.

And if you can’t, then you can download a colourful pdf instead by clicking on the front-page image top-right on our Homepage from midnight.
