A MESSAGE FROM ANNANDALE MOSQUE

Submitted by Editor on

Dear Residents of Annandale Street

Greetings. You may have noticed a high volume of movement at the Mosque these past few days. We apologise if this has caused any inconvenience.

The Muslim month of Fasting, Ramadan, is upon us again. This year it is between the 27 May and 24 June. During Ramadan, Muslims are expected to make more of an effort to attend their local mosque, especially during the evening and night-time prayers. Fasting is between Dawn and Dusk and then people are encouraged to attend the mosque to pray and open their fasts.

If you would like to learn more about Islam, you are welcome to come along to our mosque and join us in ‘opening’ our fasts. Pop along between 21.30 and 22.30.

Ramadan Mubarak

(Annandale Mosque Committee)
