We last encountered reader Rob Hussey in Breaking news on 7.12.11.
Then, he was getting hot under the collar about his local launderette's misspelling of their location as 'Cannon Mills'.
Now, Mr Hussey's frustration is focused on the forecourt of the nearby Esso Petrol Station.
This morning he sent us the photographic evidence shown right, and these pithy words on the downhill-travelling standards of Broughton literacy: 'It's amazing that so many local business in this area have absolutely no idea of how to spell the street or the area they are in! I despair!'
We sympathise. Is the problem limited to Canonmills, we wonder, or have any readers encountered similar departures from convention and history in other parts of the capital?
