Signage on the northbound stop (for customers en route to Muirhouse and Restalrig) confusingly clarifies that buses here are headed ‘To City’.
Signage on the southbound stop (for those travelling towards King’s Buildings and Craigleith) misleadingly makes clear that buses here are coming ‘From City’.
Locals are unlikely to be fazed by such advice, but visitors and the bumfuzzled could easily find themselves going the wrong way.
Is this a mistake, or is it a clever ploy to reduce pedestrian congestion in areas blighted by mass tourism?
