WORKING LIFE – THE BIGGER PICTURE

Submitted by Editor on

As a personal statement of obsessive business drive, it is unlikely to appeal to Lord Sugar.

Somehow, we doubt Donald Trump will affect its easy-going tone any time soon, even on the golf course.

In fact, it’s hard to think of anyone these days who manages to conduct a working life so obviously at a pace of their own choosing.

So hats off to the remarkable L. Freedman, picture framers, where the signs featured below appear on the firm’s front door in Antigua Street.

We tried going inside to talk about it all yesterday afternoon, but the shop was shut.

Unfashionable though such business hours and commercial logic may be nowadays, they are clearly not without merit.

Freedman’s was established in 1890 and is still going strong.
